When Desire` picked up a pencil for the first time at age 30, she didn’t expect to fall in love with drawing. This was her 3rd drawing…EVER. After 25 hours, “Wonder” was complete.

Inspired by her freckles and the look of “awe and wonder” found in the eyes of a child.

Desire’s life is marked by a season of homelessness, substance abuse, and all sorts of abusive relationships. The girl in this photo, whoever she is, hopefully never faces the same, but it reminds us that we were all that age once. Filled with hope, awe, wonder, and limitless potential. Our prayer for you (and us) is that we never lose that God-given sense of awe and wonder…no matter the sh** storms that are thrown at us.
